  • How to Tell if Spring is out of Alignment For Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box LC155943
  • Thank you very much for your purchase from etrailer of the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC155943. The pin box has a keyway where the spring bolt sits that you slide in where the air spring rests; it is hard to see the whole thing due to it being black, but I added a photo which shows where it is. You move it by hand, back and forth, with the spring fully deflated. If the air bag was tilted, this is indeed an indication the alignment may not have been fully in the hole.

  • Solution for Dometic 310 Toilet with Damaged Foot Pedal
  • Hey Sandra so we've actually checked with Dometic in the past about seeing if they have replacement foot pedals for the 310 and they do not have that as a replaceable part. Only solution would be to replace the toiled or modify what you have now to get rid of the sharp edges like with a file or sandpaper. If you're good with replacing the whole assembly then we have the Dometic 310 toilet available in Tan Ceramic # DOM37FR and White Ceramic # DOM57FR.

  • How To Determine if the 5th Wheel Pin Box Cover Fits an LCI 438277 Road Armor King Pin
  • I could not really find much with the information provided. The 438277 number and Road Armor pin box did not provide the needed information. What I can tell you is that the 5th Wheel Pin Box Cover # LC301458 fits a Lippert 1621 pin box. If your LCI Lippert 438277 is a Lippert 1621, then this will work. I have provided a help article that goes over how to determine what your pin box is.

  • Locking Pin Compatible with BWGNC4250 Gooseneck Coupler
  • The B&W Defender Locking Gooseneck Coupler Inner Tube - Round - 2-5/16" Ball - 25,000 lbs # BWGNC4250 would require an incredible lifting height of the trailer steadily straight up to release a trailer when locked at the coupler to the hitch ball. That is the only reason it doesn't come with the locking pin you referenced. The InfiniteRule Hitch Lock for Gen-Y Gooseneck Coupler w/ 4" Round Tube - Stainless Steel # 34065041 would be a great fit. It is a 3/4 inch diameter lock that has...

  • Troubleshooting Brake Shoe Wear on Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Brake Assemblies
  • The Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 7K # 23-464-465 that you mentioned have a brake material thickness of 3/16 inch. If you are measuring only the brake shoe material and not the metal plate and have that 3/16 inch measurement, then it appears the assemblies were either not installed correctly or they did not function as designed. I recommend replacing them if you have any question about their braking abilities. It could be that...

  • Can Furrion Vision S Backup Camera FOS43TASF be Installed on 2017 Keystone Avalanche
  • That is a good question and yes, even if your 2017 Keystone Avalanche is not pre-wired for a backup camera system, you can absolutely still install the Furrion backup camera: - Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision - 4.3" Screen # FOS43TASF I have added a link below to the manual for the Vision S # FOS43TASF, and you would simply need to wire the camera to a 12 volt power source and then either the running lights to have an observation camera, or the reverse...

  • Troubleshooting Landing Gear Retracting Intermittently on 2010 Keystone Avalanche 5th Wheel
  • If your landing gear is acting up like that then you need to check your ground to make sure it is secured to a clean, bare-metal surface, your power wiring that nothing it damaged, and then the battery in your 2010 Keystone Avalanche because a depleted battery could possibly be sending intermittent power like what you described. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to test sections of the power wire to ensure your landing gear is getting constant power.

  • Landing Gear Gear Box and Motor Replacement for 2011 Keystone Cougar Fifth Wheel

  • Replacing Electric Drum Brakes With Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brakes On A 2017 Keystone Avalanche
  • The information I could find about your 2017 Keystone Avalanche was fairly limited, it does look like 7,000 pound axles were used. Using that information, I do have a full parts list with quantities listed below and this is a pretty common upgrade, so it is definitely possible. However, I definitely recommend contacting Keystone with the trailer's VIN to double check that I am correct about said capacity. Though not necessarily a plug and play system, as there will not be, this is pretty...

  • Recommended Tire Cover for 235/55R16 Tires on a 2019 Keystone Avalanche 383FL
  • I recommend going with Adco Tyre Gard covers that fit dual axles because they have proven to be some of the best tire covers out there and the dual axle cover design looks much cleaner than individual covers. For your 235/55R16 tires I recommend the covers that fit 27" - 29" tires which come in the following colors: White - # 290-3923 Diamond Plate - # 290-3723 Black - # 290-3933 Camo - # 290-3623 I have attached a review video for you to check out. You just need some bungee cords like...

  • Does the High Pointe Over the Range Microwave Have External Ventilation
  • Yes, the High Pointe Over the Range RV Microwave # HP74ZR has a two speed exhaust fan which will remove all smoke, steam, and odors out of the immediate cooking area, but it will not vent it outside. If you wanted to have the microwave be able to vent outside you'd need to fabricate an external duct and connect it to the microwave.

  • Why Do The King Pin Plate Pivot Bolts On The Rota-Flex Pin Box Keep Coming Loose
  • The Trailair Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328330 has a steel sleeve inside of it that those two bolts thread into. If the bolts keep coming loose then the sleeve is damaged and moving around inside the box. Since there isn't a way to access and repair this the only option is a complete replacement of the pin box. With how new your trailer is you should have a warranty to replace it so it's not out of pocket.

  • Do Trailer Brake Assemblies Have Front or Rear Axle Designations
  • Brake assemblies like the set part # 23-458-459 can be used in a front or rear axle. You do have to match the correct left and right assemblies to the right side of the trailer but from front to back there is not difference.

  • Will the Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable # TC372 Fit a 2014 Keystone Avalanche 361TG
  • The Valterra Waste Valve Body w/ Flexible Cable # TC372 has a 3" diameter passage that is compatible with standard 3" sewage lines on RVs like your 2014 Keystone Avalanche 361TG. This part is a replacement so if you don't already have a Valterra waste valve system then you would need to install install something like the Valterra Bladex Waste Valve # T40B which has 3" hub connectors on either end. If you needed one end to have a hub and the other end a spigot then we also have part # T40...

  • How To Manually Adjust Self Adjusting Brakes
  • The Self-Adjusting Brake Assemblies like # AKEBRK-7-SA will still have a manual adjuster to allow you to relieve the brake shoe pressure. You need to simply remove the plug on the back of the assembly and adjust the manual dial using a small screwdriver or brake adjuster spoon # W80630. Be sure to not over adjust because it will be a pain to get them off. I attached a review video link below.

  • Landing Gear With Dual Motors For Keystone 5th Wheel
  • With connected landing gear you can't swap out the follow leg for a lead leg and motor to operate them independently. The gear wouldn't work and you wouldn't be able to orient the leg properly either. So you'd need to switch landing gear completely to an independent dual leg setup, the Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010.

  • 5th Wheel Trailer Nose Sits Higher and Hitch/Pin Box Are Fully Adjusted
  • The issue you are having with the trailer nose sitting higher and no further adjustments can be made to the pin box or hitch is pretty common nowadays since trucks continue to get taller and taller. The solution for this though is pretty simple as all you need to do is lift the trailer. There aren't a whole lot of options for this but the Lippert Components Tandem Axle Lift Kit part # RR23QX is what I recommend as it provides the smallest amount of lift. This kit will get you setup and...

  • Determining If Reese Electric Landing Gear RP500708 Will Fit A 2011 Keystone Avalanche 330RE
  • The Reese Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear # RP500708 you were looking at may fit your 2011 Keystone Avalanche 5th Wheel Model 330RE, but the only way to be sure is measure the distance between the weld stops of your current landing gear. The weld stops of the # RP500708 measure 15-1/2" apart inside to inside, and 17-1/2" apart outside to outside as you can see in the included diagram. As long as this matches your current landing gear this would be the correct replacement for you. Having...
